Harveys Cheese Judging Experience

Get ready for your chance to learn what it takes to be a cheese judge! The evening will start with a judging introduction from Jonathan Broomfield (Harveys Cheese Expert) who has gained over ten years experience of cheese judging at various shows such as the International Cheese Awards & World Cheese Awards amongst others. Once you have gained some informative skills you will work together with the rest of the guests on your table to find the top cheese out the six cheese selection. All tables will have the same six cheeses, a scoring sheet and a tasting pack (apples, mineral water and table water biscuits) which will be available to you. Appoint a head judge on your table as they will be responsible to announce the winning cheese you have picked. If we have a clear winner that will be announced straight away, however if there are cheeses in competion for top spot it will go to the head table for supreme judging. Jonathan will call upon one volunteer judge from each table to help find the winner. This is sure to be a fun way to try some new cheeses, and to gain an insight into the world of cheese judging. The Vibrant Brewery bar will be open downstairs with a selection of beers, ciders & drinks for you to purchase throughout the event. Also, if it is a lovely Summers evening it can get warm so please dress accordingly.  No parking onsite but there is parking in the surrounding area available.
