At Harveys we are proud to support our wonderful British Cheesemakers and our superb local producers.
We use our expertise to bring a selection of cheese from traditional classics that you love to exciting newcomers so you can try something different.

Our Cheese Expert has over 17 year's experience selling cheese and has a gained a wealth of knowledge over this time.
He has travelled the country meeting cheesemakers, judging at cheese shows, hosting cheese & wine talks and cheese pairing for companies. Recently he has become a UK ambassador for the International Cheese & Dairy Awards and is now sharing his knowledge with Harveys to provide our customers with excellent cheese and service.

At
Harveys of Hythe
Harveys opened its doors in 2007 and is a family business run by mother and daughter team, Amanda & Pippa Broomfield.
Over the years Harveys has supported the local community by helping with the organising of Halloween events and the annual Christmas lights. Amanda is Vice-Chair person of Hythe Alive and Pippa is a member. Hythe Alive was created to keep Hythe a vibrant village and to support local shopkeepers.

Harveys soon established itself as a central hub in Hythe and is popular with customers for its warm welcome, laughter and support for the local area.
​
Our shop provides a variety of delicious food options. Sweets, pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, baguettes, local honey and chutneys are just some of the treats on offer. With Jonathan Broomfield joining the team we have been able to source the most delicious cheeses, both local and continental, alongside cheese biscuits and accompaniments, as well as Dennyoak cheese boards.
